Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired written Word of God in its entirety, knowing that it is profitable, for doctrine, reproof and correction. (II Timothy 3:16)

GOD is the one and only creator of the universe. He is ever present, all knowing, unchangeable and all powerful. There is one God and He expresses his personhood in our lives through a triune Godhead consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14).

Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and perfect in all His ways, living a completely sinless life. He was the exact representation of His Father, and the only sinless man. In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead body. (I Corinthians 15:3-4)

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and was sent in His fullness to reprove the world of sin, and guide us into all truth. (John 16:7-14)

We believe all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to ALL believers today, and the gifts are for the building up of the body of Christ. (I Corinthians 12:4-11)

Man was made in the image of God, male and female, and was given a perfect body, soul without fault and senses and intellect, in perfect union with God.

SIN brought through the first man, Adam, brought death upon mankind in the body, soul and spirit. The restoration of the image of God and man's relations with God begins as he turns to Jesus Christ and receives Him as Lord and Savior. (I Corinthians 15:22)

It is impossible for man to redeem himself and thereby be saved from judgment by good works, or any other way EXCEPT the free gift of salvation that comes to all that believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of their soul. (Romans 3:24)

Jesus is coming back to earth again to judge the living and the dead, the just and the unjust. Those that serve him as Lord shall be granted everlasting life and the unjust shall dwell in eternal damnation (John 5:28-29)

Not a religious institution or a building, but a people within whom God dwells. In order to carry on the ministry of Christ. Each person is necessary and beautiful to our Lord and to us. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

Emmanuel is a church that believes whole heartedly in the biblical principal of tithing in order to meet the needs of the church and have the ability to help others. We believe that God is faithful to His word. (Malachi 3:10)
